At Wilgenhaege Innovations, we create sustainable and intelligent energy solutions through two forward-looking ventures:

  • BeeBeeOne – helping customers transition off natural gas with smart modules such as heat pumps, thermal storage, and batteries.
  • Bryntell – delivering local, nearly emission-free electricity generation powered by biofuel.

For both companies, we are developing advanced energy management platforms – BeeBeeOne OS and Bryntell OS – that merge sustainable technology, real-time control, and AI into one powerful ecosystem.

The Role

As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, you design, build, and maintain a scalable platform that makes real-time decisions to maximize energy efficiency and deliver measurable impact.
You are a technical role model in the team, contributing to the architecture, quality, and innovation of our software.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Design software architectures and technical solutions.
  • Develop backend and frontend functionality.
  • Integrate energy devices, APIs, and external systems.
  • Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
  • Manage software infrastructure (Infrastructure as Code, e.g. Terraform or Ansible).
  • Implement modular integrations between customer and supplier energy assets.
  • Integrate AI models and machine learning frameworks into control and optimization systems.
  • Lead and coach junior developers.

About you

You are an experienced engineer with vision, leadership, and a passion for technology that drives real-world change.

You have

  • A Master’s degree and 10+ years of software engineering experience.
  • Experience as a Tech Lead or Architect – inspiring and guiding your colleagues.
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps, and software infrastructure.
  • Experience with IoT, hardware-software integration, and real-time systems.
  • Experience with AI integration (machine learning frameworks and AI code assistants such as Cursor or Windsurf).
  • Proficiency in multiple programming languages such as Java, Python, TypeScript, C#, or Go.
  • Experience with control systems (DCS, SCADA, ComAp, Dyve) is a plus.
  • A proactive, communicative, and collaborative mindset.
