De steden van morgen laten wat ons betreft een uitgebalanceerde verhouding zien tussen bebouwing en groen, tussen bedrijvigheid en wonen en tussen individueel en openbaar vervoer. De lucht die we inademen, willen we zuiver houden.
Om dat te bereiken moet er veel gebeuren. Daarvoor zijn andere energiebronnen nodig en de technologie op basis waarvan wij ons voortbewegen zal op andere grondslagen gebaseerd moeten zijn. Daar hebben wij over nagedacht. En daar denken we nog steeds over na.
Grondige infrastructurele herzieningen nemen veel tijd in beslag. Invoering in nieuw te bouwen steden of stadsdelen kan al binnen enkele jaren plaatsvinden. Voor de integratie ervan in bestaande stadskernen zien we een iets langere horizon.
We verwachten onze technologie op grote schaal te kunnen implementeren in de periode van 2030 tot 2050.
